He sounded scared.
“Oh, my God!” he said. “I just heard that FOUR people on a cruise to Alaska were KILLED in an airplane crash! Isn't your brother on a cruise to Alaska? Tell me, he wasn't one of them, was he?”
“No, pop,” I assured him. “Henry is alive and well.”
“Gee,” he said, “that’s too bad.”
